The Favela Walking Tour is non-intrusive and respectful with the lives of the people living in there.
We believe that through our “Walking Tour” the cycle of drugs and guns can be broken through the power of education – the only key for the future.
We do not operate a “zoo-tour” in jeeps like some of the other tour companies. We focus on a genuine experience with the aim to educate our guests about the favelas which are such a big part of life in Rio.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Our Favela Walking Tour usually takes about 3 hours – It includes pick ups through hotels and meeting points that starts at Copacabana Palace Hotel at 13:30 till the last at Marina Palace Hotel at 14:20. Then our Walking Tour officialy starts at 14:35 in Rocinha Favela and it finishes at 17h.
